Invest in YOURSELF

It’s the best investment you’ll ever make.

The best way to get to where you want to be is to learn from someone who is already there.

Finding your feet in wedding photography has always been a challenge – You can’t shoot a wedding professionally without a portfolio of work from previous weddings, and you can’t get a portfolio without shooting a wedding. There is no specific training course or qualification, and no substitute for experience. It is a profession that is driven by passion, creativity, and hard work.

I built my own business the hard way over many years, first by shooting weddings for family and friends, teaching myself the skills I needed, attending many workshops and training events, before truly finding the style of wedding photography I wanted to develop.

This discovery, graft and quest to be the best I can be is what lead me to become a multi award winning photographer who has shot over 400 weddings, and one of the Rangefinder Magazine’s coveted 30 Rising Stars.

I am proud to be where I am having built something from nothing, and I love what I do, and a big part of this is helping others, and helping other photographers to grow on their own pathway. Before I shot weddings I had a background in training and education, so it is great to be able to go full circle. I regularly speak at training workshops and events, and have previously spoken at events such as The Societies Convention, and the Ninedots Gathering. But I also know how important it is to continually invest in yourself, and I always spend as much time as I can developing myself too, you never stop learning.
