Aaah, Tunnels Beaches! Wedding paradise by the seaside in Devon. As a photographer I just love Tunnels Beaches, it has to be one of my favourite wedding venues for photography – the anticipation as you walk through the tunnel, to feel the cool salty sea breeze on your face, and then there it is, carved out of the rock, above its own private beach, with magnificent views out to sea.

I was really excited when Claire and Luke asked me to be their wedding photographer at Tunnels Beaches, as I couldn’t wait to be back, this venue matches my photography style perfectly, with dramatic skies, beautiful light, and magnificent sunsets.

With Luke’s family originating in the Carribean, and Claire’s family always holidaying in Devon, their wedding became a fusion of colour, culture, and above all, fun by the sea. They wanted to go for a paddle in the sea, regardless of the waves from the storm the day before, and they chose to have their first dance outside at sunset too, and what a sunset! There was so much fun and laughter through the day it was infectious, and it was such a joy to photograph. See you again soon, Tunnels Beaches!

If you are getting married at Tunnels Beaches, and looking for a wedding photographer, then do give me a shout, as one of the venue’s recommended suppliers I’d love to be back again, with the sand between my toes!
