Aaah, Porthilly Farm, wedding paradise by the sea. When I met Katherine and Chris in London, and they told me they were getting married at Porthilly Farm, by the beach in Rock, Cornwall, I just had to say yes to being their wedding photographer! I love the camel Estuary and the area around Padstow, with it’s crystal clear waters, and perfect white sands. And I adore a tipi wedding too, having got married in one myself a few years ago, so much character, so cosy! Tipi weddings just fit my style of wedding photography perfectly.

The wedding was in the simply stunning St Enodoc church near Daymer Bay, a tiny little church, only accessible by foot across the golf course. A very Cornish approach, with character that made you feel like you were stepping back in time to an episode of Poldark.

As the reception progressed, we were blessed with some beautiful light, as the sun shone across the water from Padstow in the distance. Sadly we deidnt get the sunset, but did it matter? Not one bit. The views were breathtaking, the speeches were full of laughter and emotion, and as for the party, well what a party! With Chris’s Cypriot background, an incredible rendition of ‘The Zorba dance’ ensued, and the dancefloor was on fire, with incredible dance fusion music from The Chaps. Of course, we just had to stay till the very end!

As always, I’ll let the photos tell the story!
