Phoebe and Seb’s Lake District wedding
How I love the Lake District, everything about it, the light and above all the simply epic scenery. The Buttermere Valley has to be my favourite part of the lake District, so when Phoebe and Seb got in touch to say they were getting married at New House Farm, and they wanted to use my knowledge of the landscape of the Lakes to get out there and really capture a sense of the place in their photos, I simply just had to say yes!
Phoebe and Seb brought their gorgeous Labrador Dexter along, and he played a real part in the day, as a big part of their story too. He carried the rings down the aisle, but of course being a friendly lab he just had to say hello to everybody on the way, so it was a short while before he eventually completed the task in hand!
Phoebe is an accomplished wedding make up artist and photographer herself, so it was a great honour to be entrusted to capture their day, one filled with fun, laughter and family and close friends, surrounded by the stunning mountains of the Lake District .
