Maria and Tim were married at the Langton Arms in Tarrant Monkton in May, and I was honoured they chose me to share their day as their wedding photographer. I love Tarrant Monkton, the quintessentially British Dorset village, with its rows of thatched cottages leading to the river, known locally as the splash. Perhaps I am biased, as it is the village where i got married a few years ago, and returning for Maria and tim’s wedding brought back some fantastic memories. As a Dorset wedding photographer there are so many opportunities for photography, with the thatched cottages, and the beautiful bridge over the river. Such a peaceful place. Maria and Tim were married at the Langton Arms, the pub at the heart of the village, with the service outside under the verandah, followed by a reception in the cosy skittle alley. As the sun set, the moon began to rise, whilst the party carried on in tot he small hours, the perfect end to a perfect day.
