Bournemouth wedding photographer – Robin Goodlad
Specialising in creative documentary wedding photography and wedding photojournalism
Hi, I’m Robin, a professional Bournemouth wedding photographer, based in Wimborne.
I focus upon providing beautiful contemporary documentary wedding photography, with a real emphasis upon the skill of using the most beautiful natural light to create a stunning collection of wedding photographs. I also pride myself on telling the story from start to finish, even if this means an early start, and a very late finish, or both! The important thing is telling your wedding story in complete detail.
I’m proud to have been named as Hampshire Wedding Photographer Of The Year 2017 in the Hampshire wedding supplier awards, testament to the dedication, commitment and attention to detail I apply to every single wedding, to ensure that my clients receive the best possible service, support, and ultimately the best collection of beautiful wedding photography they could ever hope for.
From many years of reportage photography experience and a passion for people, I have developed a natural ability to anticipate moments. This is instinctive, anticipating the moment before it happens, to be in the right place at the right time to photograph all the fun and excitement of your wedding day with light and emotion combining in perfect harmony – this is the the key to documentary wedding photography – also known as reportage wedding photography, or wedding photojournalism.
If you are based in Bournemouth and getting married elsewhere, or getting married in or near Bournemouth and are looking for a Bournemouth wedding photographer please get in touch and say hello! I’d love to talk about working with you.
Choosing the right photographer for your wedding is essential, ensuring you connect with the style, so you know you will love the photographs. Photography is an investment, one which will be passed down through the generations. A camera is a tool, it is the photographer behind it that creates the magic. For me, it is absolutely essential to get to know you as a couple so that I can bring out the best in you. This is why all of my wedding coverage includes a complimentary engagement shoot, the moment to get creative and allow your personalities to shine, your wedding day photographs will be so much better for it.
When I photograph a wedding, all day coverage means just that, from dawn to midnight if required. It is your day, the story doesn’t finish at the first dance, and I believe your photo story shouldn’t either. I photograph quietly, though observation, not orchestration. We spend time getting to know each other beforehand, so on the day you will forget I am even there, and can concentrate on enjoying the day, safe in the knowledge your story is being captured beautifully.
