“You don’t take a photograph, you make it”

Ansel Adams

Hi there!

This is me and my little world, when I am not taking photos that is…

And here is the thing, as I am never without a camera, it’s how I see the world, which tells you just how much capturing memories means to me, whether mine or yours!

I started with a passion for landscape photography as a child, which has never left me. Seeking out epic light and backgrounds is just what I see and do, and this has naturally evolved in to my style of wedding photography, telling the story of not only who you are, but where you are, and why.

I live in rural Dorset with my wife Ruth, and our amazing daughter Milly. Watching this little monkey grow and pursue her dreams of the big stage is now my favourite thing.

I’ve been fortunate to have taken a variety of fascinating career paths in the past, with some amazing experiences, I’ve taught people to climb mountains and learn more about themselves at the same time, rescued and helped people in times of need serving as volunteer lifeboat crew, mountain rescue and as a firefighter, but the one defining constant which I could never be without has always been photography. I feel lucky to know my true calling.

I love cooking, and once made it to the QF of BBC Masterchef, with what Gregg and John described as the perfect Souffle….

When not taking pictures, I can be found out cycling up ridiculously steep hills, kitesurfing, escaping in the camper, and chasing our Labrador Floss and Spaniel Perdy round the fields and beaches…..

Great conversations start with an interesting story, and I’d love to hear yours!
