A summer wedding at Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths
Bath is a spa city steeped in history that goes back to Roman times, and the architecture is simply stunning, with both the Abbey and the Roman Baths providing the perfect backdrop for the most romantic and timeless wedding.
Chloe and John went for the double, with the spectacular Bath Abbey for their ceremony. We wandered the city streets afterwards, and down to the parade gardens overlooking the iconic Pulteney Weir for the pre-reception, before heading back through the City to the Roman Baths. Late afternoon is the perfect time to wander the streets of Bath as it is really quiet, with just a few pigeons for company, it really can feel like just the two of you.
And then there are the Roman Baths themselves – the steaming spa water and flame lit torches creating a real ambience which cannot be found anywhere else.
Bath – a city filled with grand architecture and incredible history.
