A Salcombe seaside wedding | Hannah and Rob

Salcombe is one of the most stunning tidal river valleys in England, with crystal clear sea, and perfect white sands, surrounded by magnificent architecture overlooking the sea, the perfect place for a seaside wedding with a touch of class.

Hannah and Rob’s plans instantly appealed to me, as they had booked the absolutely stunning The Moult, the iconic pink house overlooking the sea between North and South Sands. They stayed for a whole week, which meant a wedding spent with close family and friends, focusing upon everything that really matters for a wedding, without the stress or rushing around that is often the case with one day weddings.

The day itself started with a sunrise swim for everyone at South Sands, then back to the Moult for a warm up in the stunning swimming pool. A lazy breakfast, then a beautiful intimate ceremony on the lawn – without the pressure of a registrar or vicar lead ceremony, there was time for everyone to share their well wishes individually whilst passing the rings around, which was beautiful. An excellent seafood lunch from private dining team at The Seahorse was the perfect way to while away the afternoon.

As the day lazily continued, there were walks on the beach, music form the family to accompany a first dance, a quiz, and an incredible firework display . Weddings like this are an absolute favourite of mine, days where you just don’t want to leave a magical place such as this.
